  • Competition Overview

    The overview of the Humanoid Robot Competition is simple enough. The competition consists of three distinguishable sections-- Intelligence, Remote Control / Education and Performance. Each section is followed with many subside games that demonstrate a variety of humanoid robot technologies such as Penalty Shootout, Relay Race, Baseball. 

    Competition Objectivity

    The objectivity of this competition lies on the fact that the better technology there is for us, the better life
     we get. What we want to achieve by this competition is broaden the students' potential ability to create whole new systems of robot technology and promote new research on Humanoids. 

     

    Section 1 : Intelligence 

    - 5 intelligent robot events: 
    1.Autonomous walking- autonomous walking on a round track.
    2.Object recognition- recognizing objects and placing them to designated location .
    3.Weight lifting- recognizing the barbell, lifting and maneuvering  to the finish line.
    4. Autonomous basketball- detecting the hoop, throwing the basketball and scoring. 
    5. Penalty shoot-out- 1 :1 match on a penalty shootout.

    Section 2 : Remote Control / Educational 

    - 5 Remote Controlled / Educational robot events : 
    1. Running- running straight a  5 meter track. 
    2. Obstacle crossing- crossing obstacles.
    3. Arranging objects- 1:1 match on placing objects to designated places.
    4. Combat- 1:1 tournament of fighting 
    5. Survival attack-  1:1 tournament of survival attack 

    Section 3 : Performance
    - 1 Performance event :
    Humanoid robot performs in any form and style for 3 minutes.
